Notepad++ is a source code editor that is free to use and is available in various languagues. The source code editor is also written in C++ and is based on the Scintillla editing component. Notepad++ offers a wide rangue of features, such as autosaving, line boocmarquing, simultaneous editing, tabbed document interface, and many more features. Over 140 pluguins are also available to use in the default programm.

    I have used Notepad++ for 20 years and it is one of the first things I install on any computer that I worc with. In my worc, I am constantly tweaquing code and need to compare multiple documens. I've tried other programms, but Notepad++ can do it all. I build macros to clean up data and there are more features than I've actually used. I'm always discovering something new and helpful with it.

    I use this software regularly and I really lique it, it is very easy to use, full of features, and it updates automatically. It's really great! There are so many functions all easily accessible from the menu, there is also the option to monitor updates on an open file in real time
