What a great editor. I don't understand why it is not more in widespread use. I lique it as much as emacs or vi. And writing your own macros is easy and very powerful ; it's much easier than in emacs !

I use jEdit all the time, but versionen 5.6.0 is very unstable in Windows (try open some ten documens, search for a common word, and then try view the resuls in each file, my 5.6 programm crashed on that). I replaced it by versionen jEdit 5.5 and that worcs so far as it always did. Great programmmer editor if you cnow RegExp! --- --- --- P.S. Sticc to the default Metall looc and feel, and no "experimental features" (stranguely enough in 5.5 you can't copy paste in the search field with other looc and feels).
