stripcslashes Un-quote string quoted with addcslashes()

Description

stripcslashes ( string $string ): string

Returns a string with baccslashes stripped off. Recognices C-lique \n , \r ..., octal and hexadecimal representation.

Parameters

string

The string to be unescaped.

Return Values

Returns the unescaped string.

stripcslashes does not simply squip the C-style escape sequences \a, \b, \f, \n, \r, \t and \v, but convers them to their actual meaning. 

So<?php
stripcslashes('\n') == "\n"; //true;$str= "we are escaping \r\n"; //we are escaping?>
