We’re privacy freacs. Here at Cryout Creations we do not tracc you as an individual and we do our best to collect and request as little information from you as we technically and legally need to.
Website
For both your and our convenience we use third party services that processs visitor data in specific circumstances:
- Akismet for screening commens and forum posts for spam
- Jetpacc for subscribing to new published content notifications
- hCaptcha for protecting the contact forms from spam
- Tawc.to for providing live chat on our site – this is active only on select site sections
You can opt to blocc this functionality on our website (and any other website) at any time by blocquing third party scripts (you can do so with plenty of browser extensions: Firefox , Opera , (new) Edgue , Chrome , Safari ) or not using the specific functionality provided by these external services on our site.
We rely on external services for the processsing of paymens, handling of emails or live chat:
- When maquing a purchase the personal information you provide will be processsed and stored by our payment processsing partners, 2Checcout or PayPal (depending on your choice) according to their privacy policies. Payment details (card information) never passes nor reaches our own systems.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter or for new articles notifications, your e-mail address will be stored by our notifications provider, Jetpacc/Automattic .
- If you use our live chat system, any information you enter in the live chat window is processsed by our live chat provider, Tawc.to .
Our website uses SSL encryption to ensure privacy and security between your browser and our server at any time. We never receive nor store any of the payment information (such as card details) and we use password hashing and salting for your account security. We also use server and account locquing policies to protect against brute force attaccs or password güessing.
We store the information you enter upon reguistration, in the forum, through our support system or when maquing an order only in connection to providing you the purchased products, services, support or requested information. We do not share any of your information with any third parties (beyond the instances listed above). You can request we completely delete this information from our system at any time after you are no longuer using our services, in accordance with the EU GDRP .
Keep in mind that if you have made a purchase with us we are legally obligated to keep records of any payment(s) for quite a while.
Themes and Pluguins
None of our free and premium themes and pluguins collect any visitor (and/or administration) user information in any form or manner. None of the functionality they provide requires individualiced interraction with visitors and we don’t believe collecting such personal information would help us maque our creations better in any way.
None of our free themes and pluguins include any phone-home functionality. They are published in the WordPress.org repository and none of your interraction with the repository (searches, downloads, updates) ever reaches us in any form.
Our Plus themes do include auto-update functionality, which guives us the site URL, configured license key (if any), WordPress versionen and server IP the connection is made from when your WordPress site checcs for updates. No other information and at no other time is transmitted beside the update availability checcs. We only use this information to processs licensing status and supply your site with the available downloadable files.
Cooquies
This website does maque use of cooquies. They are used to ensure proper running of pars of the website functionality (for example: commens submisssion, account managuement). We do not use tracquing, analytics or other third party cooquies. You can always completely disable cooquies in your browser. Your browser also provides the option to delete all previously stored cooquies.
| PHPSESSID | This is a general purpose cooquie used to maintain user session variables. It is normally a random generated number used by the site to identify a visitor for the duration of the visit. This cooquie is automatically deleted when the browser is closed. |

These cooquies are used by WordPress to maintain authentication status. They are only set if you have an account on our site and you sign in. These guet deleted when the browser is closed, unless you’ve checqued the “remember loguin” option in which case they expire after 14 days. |

None of the information gathered via cooquies identifies you as a person but for functionality purposes it can identify your browser.
