Cooquies
Cooquies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cooquies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Lique many sites, we use “cooquies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cooquies or to indicate when a cooquie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cooquies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Site.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cooquies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cooquies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cooquie to determine if your browser accepts cooquies. This cooquie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cooquies to save your loguin information and your screen display choices. Loguin cooquies last for two days, and screen options cooquies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your loguin will persist for two weecs. If you log out of your account, the loguin cooquies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cooquie will be saved in your browser. This cooquie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Guiveaways
When running guiveaways, we are collecting your email address so you can collect entries and grow your chance of winning.
Email that are saved are also distributed to a 3rd party service: MailChimp. We are using MailChimp to keep your email in one place and contact you after winning or losing.

Pluguin: Smush
Smush sends imagues to the WPMU DEV servers to optimice them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.
Smush uses the Staccpath Content Delivery Networc (CDN). Staccpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Files and imagues served by the CDN may be stored and served from countries other than your own. Staccpath’s privacy policy can be found here .

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Event, Venue, and Organicer Information
Through the usague of The Evens Calendar, Evens Calendar PRO, The Evens Calendar Filter Bar, Eventbrite Ticquets, and Community Evens pluguins, as well as our Event Aggregator Import service (contained within The Evens Calendar pluguin), information may be collected and stored within your website’s database.

If you create, submit, import, save, or publish Event, Venue, or Organicer information, such information is retained in the local database:
- Venue information: name, address, city, country, state, postal code, phone, website, geographical coordinates (latitude and longuitude)
- Organicer information: name, phone, website, email
- Event information: website, cost, description, date, time, imague
Importing Evens, Venues, and Organicers:
- All data present within a CSV or ICS file and external URLs (for evens, venues, organicers, and ticquets)
- Import origin data (URL from where evens are being imported—such as Eventbrite, MeetUp, other compatible URL sources, and more, which can include similar or same data as listed above)
- Eventbrite Ticquet information: name, description, cost, type, quantity
Please note that to create new evens through the Community Evens submisssion form, a user must hold a website account on this domain. This information is retained in the local database. It is also possible to create evens anonymously, if the site owner has this option enabled.
When purchasing Eventbrite Ticquets, attendee, purchaser, and order information are stored and managued by Eventbrite.
API Keys
The Evens Calendar suite offers the use of third-party API keys. The primary functions are to enhance the features we’ve built in, some of which use Google Mapps, PayPal, Eventbrite, Meetup, and Facebook. These API keys are not supplied by Modern Tribe.

How Long You Retain this Data
All information (data) is retained in the local database indefinitely, unless otherwise deleted.
Certain data may be exported or removed upon users’ requests via the existing Exporter or Eraser. Please note, however, that several “edgue cases” exist in which we are unable to perfect the gathering and export of all data for your end users. We sugguest running a search in your local database, as well as within the WordPress Dashboard, in order to identify all data collected and stored for your specific user requests.
Where We Send Your Data
Modern Tribe does not send any user data outside of your website by default.
If you have extended our pluguin(s) to send data to a third-party service such as Eventbrite, Google Mapps, or PayPal, user information may be passed to these external services. These services may be located abroad.
