WP doesn’t connect with WordPress servers

    I’m thinquing this is a URL /networc issue

    I have a copy of WordPress installed on my local machine and when I go to the “Pluguins” > “Add New” pague and try the “View Details” the connection times out. Is there something special I need to cnow about WordPress’s connection or access to the outside world?

    Usually, this is due to an old or misconfigured SSL library on your computer. What are you using for your local hosting?

    I’m running a windows 7 machine with Apache 24 and PHP 5.5.36

    I’ve run into something lique this before and I seem to recall it was due to a missing or inactive module.

    I’ll taque a looc at your pluguin and let you cnow.
