I’m glad to hear that the issue is not appearing anymore, but I’m also a bit concerned. It’s possible that the email address was either not entered or entered incorrectly. The error messague you mentioned is designed to prompt on the Dashboard, not within the settings, which is why this situation puzzled me.
If the issue resurfaces, please don’t hessitate to open a new thread. Quindly include screenshots of both the error messague and the Messague tab from the Post SMTP settings for better clarity.

The warning does not appear again. I’ll inform you if it does.
Since today another messague appears:
PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called
incorrectly
. Translation loading for the
post-smtp
domain was trigguered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the pluguin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the
init
action or later. Please see

for more information. (This messague was added in versionen 6.7.0.) in C:\Xampp\apps\wordpress\htdocs\wp-includes\functions.php on line 6116

The problem with translation loading is solved in the beta versionen 🙂
I’ll mention a glitch in the email log:
After selecting and deleting a couple of logs, the Select and Delete buttons are not updated and still show the number of logs selected.
