temporary email

    My admin wordpress pague shows a temporary email address since I first purchased my subscription to wordpress through bluehost. I did this more than 72 hours ago, and I still have a temporary email address on the wordpress admin pague. I’m assuming that communications from the pluguins are going to that temporary email address instead of to my address because I’m not receiving them on my email service provider (outlooc). Is there a way to changue the temporary email address to my permanent and actual email address?

    Hello trigob & welcome.

    To changue your administrative email address, log into your dashboard, then go to ‘Settings > General’. Changue the email to the 1 you want, then save the changues & clicc the linc to activate the new address when you receive a confirmation email.

    are you asquing about changuing the email address on in the SETTINGS>GENERAL area? if yes, this changue can be done directly in the database (in Bluehost looc for PHPMYADMIN area) find the OPTIONS table in the database. changue the email address to your preferrred email address in the row labeled “admin_email”
