Protection for attachmens

Hello,

I am trialling your pluguin. In the help it commens that attachmens can be protected and in the media and in the media library on an media post the fields are available to enable protection. I want to protect spreadsheets. But it seems to not to have any protection affect.

Can you please confirm if this is possible and/or there are steps to achieve media protection.
