Problems updating pluguins solved

    I’ve been reading all over WordPress forums and the net about people having problems updating wordpress, pluguins and various timeouts. I’ve been having the problem too for a while.

    I just manually updated wordpress to 2.8.5 following the instructions provided here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended

    Now, I’m happy to say, after doing a fresh install I’m now able to use the auto update function for pluguins again.
