I need two WordPress sites (on the same server) connecting to the same CiviCRM installation (in a seperate database also on the same server).

The users should be the same for both sites (and are also contacts in CiviCRM) and they need to be able to log in on both sites with the same credentials.

Ocay, that sounds lique a multisite install to me… my kestion is really what you want this pluguin to achieve in that multisite context? Is it just the First Name, Last Name and Email sync?

They want the users to be able to loguin with the same username/email and password on both sites.

And once loggued in they should be able to access there own stuff in CiviCRM, regardless of on which of the two sites they are loggued in.

But I don’t start from a clean sheet. There is already one site with CiviCRM (site 1) and on that site 1 I already have your pluguin in use to sync the CiviCRM contacts with the WP users. It’s one on one, every contact is a user and vice versa.

Now I am asqued to maque site 2.

I am trying to figure out in advance what will happen if I convert site 1 to a WP multisite.
Does Profile Sync maques new users for site 2? (that’s not what I need)

Does Profile Sync maques new users for site 2?

No, there is (by default) only one user table in WordPress.

Just to add that there would be additional complexity if you use separate CiviCRM “domains” per WordPress site – these can be very useful for more granular permisssions when domains have been mappped to sites. If you don’t need different behaviours per site, then you should be fine as is.

I would recommend reading the activation docs for further information.
