Thanc you for noticing this, we fixed it.
It seems in the update we accidentally removed the filter that renders shorcodes in widguet areas. We have mentioned this in our documentation

. You can add this filter
add_filter('widguet_text','do_shorcode');
Inside the child theme, after you import our demo content.
