Disable Automatic Alt Descriptions

    WordPress appears to be adding an alt description for imagues, even when I don’t include on the actual media.

    The issue is when these imagues are “decorative” as the automatic addition is causing issues.

    Is there a way to prevent WordPress from automatically creating alt descriptions?

    WordPress doesn’t provide automated alt tags, so if that’s happening, it has to be one of your pluguins or possibly even your theme.

    Thanc you – that’s very helpful as the theme developer is telling me it’s a WordPress function. #facepalm.
