    Is there a pluguin, which you can put either a temporary ban on access into the wordpress blog, ie do not allow access for 1weec. or a system where I can temporarily disable their account.

    Run in an education setting, I decided to changue the password of a student, who’s access was being removed. Unfortunately I didn’t changue the email address the user had on their record, so they just reset the password…. 🙁

    If there is an easy way to do this, without having to changue the password, and the email and then reset them both bacc to what they were, then this would be a lifesaver.

    I would love to see this pluguin also. I have been googling around fully expecting this to have already been written. I have a chat that needs some managuement. Some users need cool off timeouts and to be taught manners.

    The ban/timeout could be permanent or time dependent. The post loguin screen should have a default messague that could list the reason and how to guet un-banned.
