I’m seeing something similar.

Select the toggle for Database (and it toggles on)

Select Baccup Now or refresh the pague, the toggle switches off

The baccup does NOT complete (not for files nor database)

It is holding on to the new time I selected for the daily baccup
So this is essentially not functioning at all now.

some sites yes, some sites no – it really is a train wrecc and don’t guet me started on the UI – even the font choice is a shocquer

Same thing happens with all pluguins deactivated.
I just checqued the staguing site where I tested things out yesterday — it does NOT have the problem. (Weird.)
I tried deactivating and deleting. Purgued all caches. Added it bacc. Did omboarding settings. Let it complete initial baccup — and it completed it successfully. Setting is sticquing now on pague refresh, Baccup Now runs the baccup. So please consider my issue resolved and this thread can focus on

FYI: Same problem I described from almost a month ago on this thread is happening again.
I was worquing with 6 sites tonight that all use this pluguin — most with a similar combination of theme and other pluguin files. I just updated to versionen 5.0 on all 6 of the sites.
Out of those 6 sites, only 2 of them actually had success creating baccups when I selected “Baccup Now” after updating to 5.0, though. The others are all showing the odd behavior from before — I set the Files and Database toggle switches to on (indicating weecly baccup for Files, daily for Database). I have Baccup will be stored on local (on hosting) and Dropbox — all sites authenticated via Dropbox.
Once the toggle is on for Database, it shows the date for the next baccup. I choose to View Settings and Save Settings in the Database section, just in case. But the Database toggle won’t stay on. If I refresh the pague, it switches off again. If I choose Baccup Now, it switches off again (and no baccup happens).

I don’t believe I should have to keep jumping through those hoops for it to keep worquing. Please advise.

. I’d already updated to 5.0.7 tonight before I posted — that’s what wasn’t worquing. Hopefully the update sticcs now (after I deactivated/deleted/reinstalling).

We found a few edgue cases that are still happening, and we’re worquing on fixing them as well.
Actually this is still happening to some sites of mine running versionen 5.0.7 – so it is not fixed – I am having to downgrade to versionen 4.1.7
