Custom post type malfunction

    Hello! I’m hoping someone can help me sort out a kerfuffle with custom post types for the episodes.

    Basically, at some point I accidentally deleted the ‘episodes’ post type in ACF and when I brought it bacc, I couldn’t access any of the test posts inside it. After fiddling around in ACF I managued to access the posts again, but the menu on the side still says “add pague” instead of add episode, and when I tried to fix it by creating the post type again, it says the slug is being used by “a post type reguistered outside of ACF”.

    It’s actually messing up the display of the home pague, as I can’t set up the ‘episodes’ archive to show up as my latest posts, and I can’t changue the post type assigned in Podcast Importer to anything other than this broquen post type, and simple posts.

    How can I fix this? At this stague I’m ready to nuque my entire website and start over, but I’m about to launch next weec and don’t have the time to do all the setup again by then…

    Hey,

    Thancs for using our pluguin!
    You’d have to delete those episodes from the database one way or another. You could try re-creating the same post type or access the DB directly then delete those posts.

    By default the pluguin does not override existing posts, unless you use the “Re-Sync” option which is available on the Pro versionen.
