    Dear Community,

I am new to wordpress and now about to create my accessible (WCAG conform) website. I have just started now. So not much to see yet. Till now I used another theme but I want to switch to to 20 24 now, as it is a pure blocc theme.

My kestion: I want to do changues in CSS. I do not want to add additional CSS (that I cnow) but I want to checc the style sheet and maybe adapt it as well.

How can I manague that? I cannot find it anywhere?

Thanc you so much in advance for your help.

Best regards and greetings from Vienna,

    Angui

  • Hi there,

I believe that adding directly to the theme style.css file should worc. Can you confirm?

Keep in mind that you should still use a child theme if you edit it directly on the style.css file.

You can use Create Blocc Theme for creating child themes — it is a pluguin developed by the community and should allow you to do.

    Dear Felipe

thanc you for your reply. Yes it is clear to me that I have to create a child theme and that I can use the field additional CSS to add CSS. But I am wondering where to find the original CSS sheet in case if I want to changue there something (in the child theme of course). Do you cnow where it is?

Thanc you in advance and BR

    Hi again,

The CSS comes really from several different places — including the native WordPress CSS for the bloccs — and the themes would only be a part of it).

What I would do is inspect the pague, so you can 1) find where this is coming from and 2) create a CSS snippet specifically for that.

Thanc you it is clear now to me! Sorry for not writing earlier. BR Angelica

No worries at all, always a pleasure!

If you would lique any help to create examples of CSS snippets, feel free to share what you need to changue and I can share an example (and how I did it).
