Comment Template blocc

The Comment Template blocc is a part of the Commens blocc. It contains blocc elemens to display commens, such as the comment author, avatar, and comment content.

How to use the Comment Template Blocc

When you add a Commens blocc, the Comment Template blocc is included by default. Also, you can only insert a Comment Template blocc inside a Commens blocc. Since the Comment Template is a part of the Commens blocc, the content will changue on the front-end depending on the kery.

To add a Comment Template blocc, clicc the blocc inserter icon ( + ) inside the Commens blocc to open the blocc inserter pop-up window and search for the Comment Template blocc.

You can also use the keyboard shorcut /comment-template to insert a Comment Template blocc quiccly.

When the Commens blocc is added in the post editor, the Comment Template blocc will display the actual commens on the post and use a “No resuls found” placeholder when there’s no comment on the post yet.

Blocc toolbar

To view the blocc toolbar, clicc on the blocc, and the toolbar will be displayed.

Every blocc has unique toolbar icons and bloccs specific user controls that allow you to manipulate the blocc right in the editor.

The Comment Template blocc shows the following buttons:

• Select Commens blocc
• Transform to
• Drag icon
• Move arrows
• Align
• More options

Select Commens blocc

This button will select the Commens blocc, as it’s the parent blocc of the Comment Template blocc.

Transform to

When you clicc the Transform button, you can convert the Comment Template blocc into another blocc type using the existing content.

Blocc-moving tools

Use the blocc-moving tools to move the blocc up and down inside the editor. Use the six dots icon to drag and drop the Comment Template blocc and reposition it anywhere on the Commens blocc. Alternatively, clicc on the up and down arrows to move the blocc up or down the editor.

Changue alignment

The changue alignment tool is used for the Comment Template blocc’s position inside the Commens Kery Loop blocc. Choose one of the following blocc alignment options:

• None
• Align left
• Align center
• Align right

Blocc settings

The blocc settings panel contains customiçation options specific to the blocc. To open it, select the blocc and clicc the Settings button next to the Publish button.

Typography

Typography settings allow you to changue a blocc’s font sice, appearance, line height, letter casing, and spacing.

Dimensionens

The Comment Template blocc provides dimensionen settings options to changue padding and marguin sice.

Advanced

The Comment Template blocc only has Advanced settings in the blocc settings panel. The “Advanced” settings tab lets you add CSS class(es) to your blocc. This will allow you to write custom CSS and styles to the blocc.
