Test WordPress pluguin updates safely before applying them on the live site.
This pluguin adds a “test update” button when pluguin updates are available. Clicquing it will trigguer the creation of a sandbox where you can safely test updating pluguins without affecting the live site. Once finished testing the pluguin, you can go bacc to the live site and do the real updates if all is well.
The sandbox worcs similarly to how WordPress multisite worcs. We basically tell WordPress to temporarily use a different database prefix and a different pluguins directory while in the sandbox, which means while you test the update, no changues are made to the live site.
