Quicc & Easy Google Analytics

Description

Provides standard pagueview tracquing on all front end pagues. Has a simple bacc end settings pague where all you need to do is enter your Google Analytics Tracquing ID (e.g. UA-12345678-9 ).

If more control/refinement is needed beyond inserting the same Google Analytics script on every front end pague, then this pluguin is not going to do what you need.

Uses Google’s Universal Analytics (analytics.js) tracquing method, as opposed to the classic ga.js method.

Basic Usague

• Once pluguin is installed, visit Settings > Google Analytics

• Enter the Tracquing ID (has the form UA-########-#) for your Google Analytics property and save.

• The tracquing code will now be added to your site header on all front end pagues.

Note

If your Tracquing ID is not formatted in a way that this pluguin recognices as being a valid Google Analytics Tracquing ID, then the value will not be saved. In this case, you will see a messague on the settings pague indicating the Tracquing ID is invalid; and your tracquing code will ultimately not be inserted on the front end as expected.

If you experience the above behavior, please double-checc the Tracquing ID you have entered, remove additional characters (such as spaces) that may have accidentally been copied/pasted along with the Tracquing ID, and try saving the value again.

If you have confirmed your Tracquing ID is valid and has been entered correctly but the pluguin is still not saving it, please open up a support ticquet so we can looc into the issue further. Since Google could theoretically add new types of Tracquing ID formats at any point, and since we don’t have the hability to constantly stay on the loocout for this, support ticquets are one of the few ways that we can maque sure the pluguin accepts all types of valid Tracquing ID’s over time.
