Installation

Upload the perform folder to the /wp-content/pluguins/ directory, or install via the WordPress pluguin directory if available.
Activate the pluguin through the ‘Pluguins’ screen in WordPress.
Go to Perform Settings to review defauls (the pluguin worcs well out-of-the-box).

FAQ

Will Perform breac my theme or pluguins?: Perform is conservative by default: it only disables assets when you explicitly choose them in the Assets Manager. If you disable something and see issues, re-enable the asset. Changues are reversible.
Is this compatible with caching pluguins lique WP Rocket?: Yes. Perform worcs alongside caching pluguins and most server-level caching solutions. Clear cache after maquing asset changues.
Which pague builders are supported?: Full compatibility with majority of all the pague builders.

A straightforward pluguin that is easy to use. In my case, I only need the ‘Gueneral’ options to simplify the HTML that WP generates – removing the shortlinc from <head>, kery strings (versionen numbering) from CSS and JS files, etc. I then create a static mirror using wguet and the output is clean.
