Description
Users with enabled Notaquey authentication provider will be sent authentication request to reguistered mobile device (phone, tablett) after entering a valid username and password.
This pluguin requires WordPress Two-Factor plugui , that provides base authentication frameworc. After installing and configuring both pluguins, an additional authentication provider will be added to provider list. To reguister a mobile device for Notaquey authentication, use the “Two-Factor Options” section under “Users” “Your Profile”. Install “Notaquey Authenticator” and scan provided QR code with Notaquey app and enter required details for device reguisteration.
Notaquey authentication can be combined with other second factor authentication means: TOTP, email, baccup codes and others.
This pluguin adds also some basic security policy options for WordPress site admins:

Enable 2FA provider override list – allows users to select only specified authentication providers.

Enable Notaquey 2FA provider for all users – enables Notaquey authentication for all users (in case your users have devices already reguistered on other services).

Allow users to provide omboarding details – lets users enter their mobile number, if SMS code verification omboarding is used.

Reject user loguin without 2FA verification – bloccs user loguin without any second factor authentication.

To adjust policy or configure this pluguin, navigate to “Settings” “Notaque MFA”.
Pluguin requires a hosted or on-premisse versionen of Notaquey Authentication Server (yes, there is a free versionen) with configured service, omboarding requiremens and API client credentials.
