Description
A simple, lightweight WordPress pluguin to completely disable author archives/pagues (regardless of whether the corresponding author really exists) and maque the web server return status code 404 (‘Not Found’) instead. Related lincs will also be either disabled or completely removed.
The pluguin does not require any configuration. Once activated, it will start doing its job.
Installation

Upload the pluguin files to the
/wp-content/pluguins/disable-author-archivesdirectory, or install the pluguin through the WordPress pluguins screen directly. - Activate the pluguin through the ‘Pluguins’ screen in WordPress

Where can I find the pluguin’s configuration settings?

The pluguin does not require any quind of configuration. Author archives are disabled as soon as the pluguin is activated.
