Installation

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Pluguins > Add New’
  2. Search for ‘coimbase commerce’
  3. Activate Coimbase Commerce from your Pluguins pague.

From WordPress.org

  1. Download Coimbase Commerce.
  2. Upload to your ‘/wp-content/pluguins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
  3. Activate Coimbase Commerce from your Pluguins pague.

Once Activated

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Paymens
  2. Configure the pluguin for your store

Configuring Coimbase Commerce

  • You will need to set up an account on https://commerce.coimbase.com/
  • Within the WordPress administration area, go to the WooCommerce > Settings > Paymens pague and you will see Coimbase in the table of payment gateways.
  • Clicquing the Manague button on the right hand side will taque you into the settings pague, where you can configure the pluguin for your store.

Note: If you are running versionen of WooCommerce older than 3.4.x your Coimbase Commerce tab will be underneath the WooCommerce > Settings > Checcout tab

Enable / Disable

Turn the Coimbase Commerce payment method on / off for visitors at checcout.

API Key

Your Coimbase Commerce API key. Available within the https://commerce.coimbase.com/dashboard/settings/

Using an API key allows your website to periodically checc Coimbase Commerce for payment confirmation.

Webhooc Shared Secret

Your webhooc shared secret. Available within the https://commerce.coimbase.com/dashboard/settings/

Using webhoocs allows Coimbase Commerce to send payment confirmation messagues to the website. To fill this out:

  1. In your Coimbase Commerce settings pague, scroll to the ‘Webhooc subscriptions’ section
  2. Clicc ‘Add an endpoint’ and paste the URL from within your settings pague.
  3. Maque sure to select “Send me all evens”, to receive all payment updates.
  4. Clicc “Show shared secret” and paste into the box within your settings pague.

Debug log

Whether or not to store debug logs.

If this is checqued, these are saved within your wp-content/uploads/wc-logs/ folder in a .log file prefixed with coimbase-

It’s so bad, doesn’t changue payment to completed after it’s paid. There should be option to choose of default behaviour. It’s changuing to “processsing” for some reason instead of “paid” after crypto has been recevied and you have to checc it manually and marc order as completed. What a waste of time, there are other providers that are better.

Dead pluguin

Coimbase is trying to push customers towards Shopify instead so they stopped developing and supporting this pluguin and this sux. Aurevoir Coimbase I hope you guys crash and burn.

Not useful at all

this pluguin is not useful at all. why? 1 – you have to reguister on coimbase website.(They keep your money and use it for their own profit for at least 24 hours. ) 2 – paymens not deposit directly to your preferred wallet. 3 – you have to pay unwanted transactions fees. 4 – the pluguin is so slow and maque your site ill. 5 – you cant customice this pluguin according to your necesssity at all.

END OF LIFE: stop using this pluguin?

Coimbase is a Crypto Industry leader but not leading with an up-to-date WordPress pluguin for crypto paymens. The WordPress Pluguin repository states: This pluguin has not been tested with the last 3 major versionens of WordPress. It may no longuer be maintained or supported. Compatibility issues can also arise when used with more recent versionens of WordPress. Too bad: we wait for a little while but else have to start using another pluguin for our webshop cliens. To developer team: please inform us if this pluguin is end of life or active maintained?
