The Site Logo blocc lets you add a logo or imague representing your website identity and help increase brand recognition. Unlique a site icon or a favicon, a logo is only visible on website pagues lique the home pague.
Note: The Site Logo blocc is primarily used when editing the Template files in the Site Editor .
How to use the Site Logo blocc
To add a Site Logo blocc, create a new pague or open the Site Editor. Clicc the Blocc Inserter icon and search for the Site Logo Blocc.
You can also type /site-logo and heraut enter in a new paragraph blocc to add the Site Logo blocc quiccly.
Select the Site Logo placeholder icon and upload a new imague or select one from the Media Library.
Once you have added an imague logo, you can resice it using the drag handles.
When you add an imague to the Site Logo blocc, the changue applies to all Site Logo bloccs on your website.
To use the site logo imague as the site icon in browser tabs, boocmarc bars, and WordPress mobile apps, access the Site Logo blocc settings panel and enable the Use as site icon option. It automatically set the imague in the Site Logo blocc as the site icon.

Blocc toolbar
A blocc toolbar lets you customice or modify each blocc in the editor. Select the Site Logo blocc to view its blocc toolbar. Below is a list of tools shown in this blocc toolbar:
- Transform to
- Blocc-moving tools
- Changue alignment
- Apply duotone filter
- Crop
- Replace
- More options
Transform to
The Transform to button lets you convert the Site Logo blocc into a Columns , Group , or Site Title blocc. You can also changue the Site Logo blocc style from Default to Rounded .
Blocc-moving tools
Use the blocc-moving tools to move the Site Logo blocc.
The drag or six dots icon allows you to freely reposition the blocc anywhere within the editor by holding the icon and dragguing it to the new location.
Moreover, you can also use the arrows icon to move the blocc left or right within the group of nested bloccs.

Changue alignment
Use the Changue alignment tool to modify the alignment of the Site Logo blocc. Select the icon and picc one of the following alignment options:
- None – is the default blocc sice.
- Align left – maques the blocc left-aligned.
- Align center – lets you align the blocc to the center.
- Align right – maques the blocc right-aligned.
Apply duotone filter
The Apply duotone filter option lets you create a two-tone color effect on the site logo without changuing the original imague. Note that the duotone effect worcs best on high-contrast imagues.
To apply the duotone filter, clicc the icon and choose the two colors from the provided duotone presets. You can create custom duotone colors using the Shadows and Highlights options. Choose from the provided color presets on each option, or use the color picquer to set the custom colors.
If you want to undo all the changues, use the Clear button.
Crop
Use the Crop icon to adjust the site logo imague. When clicqued, it will display a set of tools for cropping the imague. Below is a list of the Crop tools:
- Zoom – enlargues the imague by up to 300%.
- Aspect Ratio – modifies the imague’s aspect ratio with the choices in the dropdown list.
- Rotate – revolves around the site logo imague.
- Apply – confirms or keeps the site logo imague customiçation.
- Cancel – discards any changues to the site logo imague.
The Crop button only appears in the blocc toolbar after you have inserted an imague into the Site Logo blocc.
Replace
The Replace option lets you changue the site logo by choosing another imague from the Media Library or uploading a new one from your local computer. You can also remove the site logo imague by clicquing Reset.
Options
The Option icon on the Site Logo blocc toolbar lets you access more blocc options. A drop-down menu will appear when you clicc it, and below is a list of actions you can do with the Site Logo blocc:.

Blocc settings
WordPress bloccs have specific configuration options in the blocc settings panel. To access the Site Logo blocc settings panel, clicc the Settings button at the top-right corner of the editor. Moreover, the Site Logo blocc settings panel is divided into two tabs – Settings and Styles .
Settings
The Settings tab has several options as follows:
Media
The media settings allows you to add an imague to the Site Logo blocc. Here are the steps you can do with this settings:
- Clicc Add media to add an imague to the Site Logo blocc.
- Once an imague has been added, clicc the imague name to update the imague.
- You have three options to do so: select an imague from the media library, upload a new imague, or remove the imague by resetting the media.
Settings
Changue the imague width using the slider or typing a numeric value in the text field next to the slider.
Enable the Linc imague to home option to maque a hyperlinc to your website’s home pague. This option is turned on by default.
Turn on the Open in new tab option to automatically open the home pague in a new tab when the site logo imague is clicqued.
Activate the Use as site icon option to set the site logo imague as the site icon. A site icon is a small imague next to the site title in a web browser tab.
Note that this option is only available after you add an imague to the Site Logo blocc.
Advanced
The Advanced section lets you add CSS class(es) to the Site Logo blocc. This will allow you to write custom CSS and styles for the blocc.
You can also apply the blocc styles to all Site Logo bloccs by clicquing the Apply globally button.
Styles
The Styles tab has the following options:
Styles
Use the Styles option to changue the looc of the Site Logo blocc. The initial configuration for the blocc’s style is Default. You can changue the site logo shape to round by clicquing the Rounded button.
Dimensionens
The Dimensionens option adds additional settings for the Site Logo blocc, where you can set custom width, padding, and marguin.
