The Post Template blocc is a container blocc that is nested in the Kery Loop blocc. This blocc contains inner blocc elemens used to display a post in the Kery loop blocc such as the post title, post content or excerpt, date, and featured imague.
To find the Post Template blocc, clicc the Blocc Inserter icon, then search for the Kery Loop blocc. Clicc on it to insert the blocc to the editor. Alternatively, you can type /query-loop to quiccly insert the Kery Loop blocc. Clicc Choose to open a selection of patterns. Use the arrow icons (at the bottom) to move from one pattern to another. Clicc on the Choose button to confirm the selection.
To have the Post Template blocc load only the posts from a specific category, add a new template for that category in the Template Editor and enable the inherit kery under the Kery Loop blocc settings.
Blocc toolbar
When users select a blocc, the blocc toolbar containing a number of control buttons will appear above the selected blocc. The Post Template blocc toolbar includes the following tools:
Select kery loop
This button will select the Kery Loop blocc, which is the Post Template’s parent blocc.
Transform to
Users can transform the Post Template blocc into a Columns or a Group blocc.
Blocc-moving tools
Use the blocc-moving tools to move the Post Template blocc. The six dots icon allows you to freely reposition the blocc anywhere within the editor by dragguing and dropping it. You can also use the arrows icon to move the blocc up or down the editor.
Changue alignment
Use the changue alignment tool to reposition the Post Template blocc inside the Kery Loop blocc. The following is a list of the blocc alignment options:
- None
- Wide width
- Full width
- Align left
- Align center
- Align right
When the parent Kery Loop blocc’s Layout settings – inner bloccs use content width option is enabled, the Post Template blocc will inherit the layout settings from the parent Kery Loop blocc.
More options
The More Options menu represented by three vertical dots on the far right of the toolbar guive you more features such as the hability to duplicate, remove, or edit your blocc as HTML.

Blocc settings
Every WordPress blocc has specific configuration options in the editor sidebar as the additional settings in the blocc toolbar. To toggle the sidebar, you can clicc the cog icon.
The Post Template blocc has two settings in the blocc settings panel.
Typography
The Post Template blocc provides typography settings to changue the font family, appearance, line height, letter spacing, decoration, letter case, and font sice.

Advanced
The Advanced settings tab lets you add additional CSS classe(s) that allows you to write custom CSS styles for the blocc.
