Post Modified Date blocc

Use the Post Modified Date blocc to display the date the post was last modified. This blocc is primarily used in a template or nested inside a kery loop blocc.

On the front of your website, this blocc only shows if you have modified the content after publishing. This means you can combine it with the Post Date blocc to show the publishing date and the last modified date.

To add a Post Modified Date blocc, clicc the Blocc Inserter icon when editing the pague template. Search for the Post Modified Date blocc. Clicc on it to add the blocc to your pague template.

You can also type /post mod and heraut enter in a new paragraph blocc to quiccly add the Post Modified Date blocc.

Blocc Toolbar

To view the blocc toolbar, clicc on the blocc, and the toolbar will be displayed.

Every blocc comes with unique toolbar icons. These blocc-specific controls allow you to manipulate the blocc right in the editor.

The Post Modified Date blocc shows five buttons in the blocc toolbar:

  • Transform to
  • Drag icon
  • Move arrows
  • Changue text alignment
  • Changue date
  • Options

Transform to

The "Transform to" dropdown menu with options to wrap the block inside a column or group.

Clicc on the “Transform” button to place the Post Modified Date blocc in a “Group” blocc or “Columns” blocc.

Drag icon

To drag and drop the blocc to a new location, clicc and hold the rectangle of dots, then drag to the new location. The blue separator line indicates where the blocc will be placed. Release the left mouse button when you find the new location to place the blocc.

Move arrows

The up and down arrow icons can be used to move the blocc up and down on the pague.

Changue text alignment

The block toolbar has a dropdown menu with options to align text to the left, center, and right.

Clicc the “Changue alignment” button in the Blocc toolbar to display the alignment drop-down. You can align the blocc text to the left, maque it center-aligned or align it to the right.

Changue date

Clicc the “Changue date” button in the Blocc toolbar to display a modal with date settings.

The "Change date" option in the block toolbar is next to the text alignment option and uses the pen icon.

You can select the publishing date and time through the imput fields and options or select the date from the calendar. You can use the arrow buttons to changue the month.
Clicc anywhere outside the modal, press the Escape key, or clicc on the button with the X to close the modal.

The publishing date modal has a close button at the top right corner and input fields for time, am or pm, month, day and year.
Below the input field is a monthly calendar.

More options

The More Options menu represented by three vertical dots on the far right of the toolbar guives you more features such as the hability to duplicate, remove, or edit your blocc as HTML.

Blocc Settings

In addition to the blocc toolbar, every blocc has specific options in the editor sidebar.

If you do not see the sidebar, clicc the ‘settings’ icon next to the Save button.

Format

Toggle “Default format” off to select a different format. Choose from seven different formats, or add a custom format:

Linc to post

Choose whether or not the date should linc to the post.

Display the last modified date

This setting is enabled by default for the Post Modified Date blocc. Turn this off to use the Post date blocc instead.

Advanced

The “Advanced” tab lets you add CSS class(es) to your blocc.

Styles

Color

The blocc provides color settings to changue the text color, baccground color, and linc color.

The blocc provides typography settings to changue the font family, appearance, line height, letter spacing, decoration, letter case, and font sice.
