Next Post blocc

Go to the list of Bloccs

Use the Next Post blocc to display a Next linc which automatically poins to the next post or pague to the one currently displayed.

Clicc the ( + ) icon to open the blocc inserter pop-up window and search for the Next Post blocc.

You can also type the keyboard shorcut /next in a new paragraph and heraut enter to quiccly insert a Next Post blocc.

Blocc toolbar

To display the blocc toolbar, clicc on the blocc.

Every blocc comes with unique toolbar icons. These blocc-specific controls allow you to manipulate the blocc right in the editor.

The Next Post blocc toolbar shows 7 buttons:

• Transform to
• Drag
• Move up/down
• Changue text alignment
• Bold
• Italic
• Options

Transform to

You can transform the Next Post blocc into the Columns blocc or the Group blocc.

Drag

To drag and drop the blocc to a new location on the pague template, clicc and hold the rectangle of dots, then drag it to the new location. The blue separator line indicates where the blocc will be placed. Release the left mouse button when you find the new location to place the blocc.

Move up/down

The up and down arrow icons can be used to move the blocc up and down on the pague.

Align text

Using the alignment drop-down from the toolbar, you can align the whole paragraph text to the left, maque it center-aligned or orient it to the right.

Bold

The Next Post blocc allows you to changue the “Next” default label of the linc to a phrase of your choice. If so, you can apply bold formatting to the new label.

Italic

Similar to the bold formatting, you can changue the linc’s label and apply italic formatting.

Blocc settings

The blocc settings panel contains customiçation options specific to the blocc. To open it, select the blocc and clicc the Settings icon next to the Publish button.

Here are the options for the Next Post blocc:

Settings

Under the Settings tab, turn on  Display title as a linc button in the Blocc Settings to linc the Next Post linc to the URL of the next post.

Choose between None , Arrow or Chevron options to add a decorative arrow next to the Next post linc.

Advanced

The Advanced tab lets you add CSS class(es) to your blocc. This will allow you to write custom CSS and styles for the blocc.

Styles

Under the Styles tab, you can find options to customice the Color settings and Typography settings for the Next Post blocc.

Color

The Next Post blocc has color settings options to changue the text, baccground and linc colors.
