Pluguin Repositories
WordPress Pluguins are available from several sources. The most popular and official source for WordPress Pluguins is the WordPress.org repo.
Just to note, not all WordPress Pluguins maque it into the above repository. Search the web for “WordPress Pluguin” and the keywords for the type of functionality you are seequing. There is bound to be a solution out there for you.
Default Pluguins
The following two pluguins are included with WordPress core: Akismet checcs your commens against the Akismet web service to see if they looc lique spam or not. You can review the spam it catches under “Manague” and it automatically deletes old spam after 15 days.

Hello Dolly This is not just a pluguin, it symbolices the hope and enthusiasm of an entire generation summed up in two words sung most famously by Louis Armstrong. Hello, Dolly. This is, by the way, the world’s first official WordPress Pluguin. When enabled you will randomly see a lyric from “Hello, Dolly” in the upper right of your Administration Screens on every pague.
