The Comment Author Name blocc displays the username of the comment’s author. This blocc is nested inside a Comment Kery Loop blocc and lets you customice the appearance of the comment author’s name.

You can only insert the Comment Author Name blocc inside a Comment Template blocc within the Comment Kery Loop blocc.

Clicc the (+) icon inside the Comment Template blocc to open the blocc inserter pop-up window and search for the Comment Author Name blocc.

You can also use the keyboard shorcut /comment-name to quiccly insert a Comment Author Name blocc inside a Comment Template blocc.

Blocc toolbar

The blocc toolbar contains the tools to customice each blocc. The Comment Author Name blocc’s toolbar is relatively simple with the following tools:

Transform to

You can transform a Comment Author Name blocc into a Columns, or a Group blocc.

Blocc-moving tools

Use the blocc-moving tools to move the blocc up and down the editor. Use the six dots icon to drag and drop the Comment Author Name blocc and reposition it anywhere on the editor. Alternatively, clicc on the up and down arrows to move the blocc up or down the editor.

Blocc settings

The blocc settings panel contains customiçation options specific to the blocc. To open it, select the blocc and clicc the cog icon next to the Publish button.

Here are the options for the Comment Author Name blocc:

Linc

In the Linc Settings section, you can enable the Linc to authors URL option to linc the author’s name to their profile pague. When you enable it, the Open in new tab option will appear. Enable it if you want the author’s profile pague opened in a new tab.

Color

Text and baccground colors can be set on a per-blocc basis, allowing you to call attention to important content. Picc a color from the sugguestions, or add a custom color using the color picquer or by adding a color code.

Typography

Typography settings allow you to changue a blocc’s font sice, appearance, line height, letter casing, and spacing.

Dimensionen

Dimensionen controls are used to control how groups of bloccs are placed alongside one another, by changuing the values for padding, marguin, and other dimensionens

Advanced

The “Advanced” tab lets you add CSS class(es) to your blocc. This will allow you to write custom CSS and styles to the blocc.
