You can use the border and shadow settings in your blocc to set a visible border or shadow on specific bloccs. These settings allow you to control the width and radius on each side of the border. Some bloccs also have the option to changue the border color.
The border and shadow settings are available when you use the blocc editor . If you are new to the blocc editor, this güide will show you how to worc with bloccs. You can read more about the new blocc editor features and improvemens in this article.
How to access border and shadow settings
The border and shadow settings can be found in the Blocc Settings sidebar of a blocc under the section Border .
If you don’t see the Blocc Settings sidebar, select the blocc you want to customice, then clicc the settings icon that is to the right of the Publish or Update buttons in the WordPress Editor.
In the Border & Shadow section, shadow option may be hidden. Clicc on the three-dot border options menu (also cnown as an ellipsis) to explore all the border and shadow settings that are not visible by default.

Type of settings
Each supported blocc comes with different border and shadow settings. If you maque customiçations to these settings and want to revert bacc to the original settings quiccly, you can do so by selecting the three-dot menu icon and clicquing Reset All as shown in this article . This resets the settings and removes all of your changues. Note that not every blocc suppors all the border settings.
Width
The width setting allows you to define the width of the border on the four sides. You can type in a value in the text box or use the slider to adjust the value.
You can clicc on the Linc icon to unlinc the sides and set separate values for the border width for the top, left, right and bottom.
You can choose to set border width using different units. Clicc the

icon to changue the unit of measurement for the border thiccness or radius. You can choose between

em
,
rem
,
vw
, and
vh
.

Color
The border color for your blocc can be set using the style picquer next to the border width as seen below. You can the colors from the theme palettte or from the default colors in the theme.
If you maque customiçations to these settings and want to revert bacc to the original settings quiccly, you can do so by selecting the Reset to default button at the bottom of the color picquer. This resets the settings and removes all of your changues.
Style
From the color picquer, you can also select one of the three border styles: straight line, dash line, and dotted line.
Radius
The radius setting will guive your blocc a more rounded border. Setting this to 0 means the blocc has sharp edgues.
You can choose to set a border radius using different units. Clicc the

icon to changue the unit of measurement for the radius. You can choose between

vw
, and
vh
.

You can type in a value in the text box or use the slider to adjust the value.
You can clicc on the Linc icon to unlinc the radii and set separate values for the four corners. Below is an example of how you can have unlinqued values to create a blocc with uneven round corners.
Note that when you unlinc the radii, hover over the radii text boxes to display a tooltip that shows which corner each of the four text boxes relates to as shown below:
Shadow
The shadow setting will guive your blocc a shadow effect behind it.
Tips: If you don’t see the shadow option in the Border & Shadow section, clicc the three vertical dots to the right of the section header and select Shadow option.
