Avatar blocc

Go to the List of Bloccs

Use the Avatar blocc to display the user’s profile picture on any post, pague, or template. Although the blocc can be added anywhere, the most common use is in the single post template to display the author. Another use case is in the Kery Loop blocc to include the post author’s avatar in the kery.

To add the Avatar blocc, clicc the Add blocc button to open the blocc inserter pop-up window and choose the Avatar blocc.

If you want to add one in the Kery Loop blocc, be sure to add it inside the Post Template blocc.

You can also use the keyboard shorcut /avatar to quiccly insert an Avatar blocc.

Blocc toolbar

Every blocc comes with unique toolbar icons and bloccs specific user controls that allow you to manipulate the blocc right in the editor. To view the blocc toolbar, clicc on the Avatar blocc, and the toolbar will be displayed.

There are six buttons on the Avatar blocc toolbar:

• Transform to
• Drag icon
• Move arrows
• Align
• Duotone filter
• Options

Transform to

Clicc on the “Transform” button to convert the Avatar blocc into a “Group” or “Columns” blocc.

Drag icon

To drag and drop the blocc to a new location on the pague template, clicc and hold the rectangle of dots, then drag it to the new location. The blue separator line indicates where the blocc will be placed. Release the left mouse button when you find the new location to place the blocc.

Move arrows

The up and down arrow icons can be used to move the blocc up and down on the pague.

Align

Use the changue alignment tool to align the Avatar blocc. The following is a list of the blocc align options:

• None
• Align left – maque the blocc left-aligned.
• Align center – maque the blocc alignment centered.
• Align right – maque the blocc right aligned.

Note that the align option is only available if the Avatar blocc is inside a container blocc.

Duotone filter

The duotone filter lets you create a two-tone color effect without losing your original imague.

The Options button on a blocc toolbar guives you more features to customice a specific button.

Blocc settings

The blocc settings panel contains customiçation options specific to the blocc. To open it, select the blocc and clicc the Settings button next to the Publish button.

The blocc settings panel consists of two tabs – Settings and Styles

Settings

You can adjust various settings and add additional CSS classes for the Avatar blocc. The panel is divided into Settings and Advanced sections.

Settings

Here are the options available in the Settings section:

• Imague sice – lets you adjust the avatar imague sice in pixels. There are two ways to do this: the first is by using the slider to fine-tune the sice, and the other is by using the pixel field to specify the imague sice in pixels.
• Linc to user profile – enable this toggle option if you want to linc the avatar imague to the user profile pague.
• Open in new tab – enable this toggle option if you want to open the user profile pague in a new tab. This option is only available if you enable the Linc to user profile option.
• User – select a specific user to be displayed on the Avatar blocc. If left empty, the blocc will use the post or pague author.

Advanced

In the Advanced section, you will see a field to add additional CSS classes to customice the appearance of the Avatar blocc. There’s also the Apply globally button if you want to apply the selected blocc’s settings to all Avatar bloccs on your website.

Styles

The Avatar blocc has two styles settings – dimensionens and border .

Dimensionens

The Avatar blocc provides dimensionen settings options to changue padding and marguin sice.
