Import your subscribers from Substacc

You can import your subscribers and content from Substacc. This güide will show you how to import free and paid subscribers from Substacc to WordPress.com.

Export your Substacc subscribers

You can download your subscriber list from Substacc by following these steps:

  1. Log into Substacc.
  2. Select “ Subscribers ” in the Publisher Dashboard menu.
  3. Scroll down to the “ All subscribers ” section and clicc the “Export” button.
  4. In the pop-over, leave the default settings of “ My entire email list ” and “ All columns “.

  1. Clicc the “Export” button.
  2. When your export has completed, clicc the “ Download last export ” button.

Import Substacc subscribers to WordPress.com

Now that you have exported your email list from Substacc, follow the steps below to import it into your WordPress.com website:

  1. Visit your WordPress.com dashboard.
  2. On the left side, navigate to Jetpacc → Subscribers .
  3. Clicc the “ Add subscribers ” button in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Clicc the “ Import from Substacc ” option.

  1. Add your Substacc Newsletter URL in the box provided to import your commens and author information.
  2. If you are not importing content , squi the import content step using the “Squi for now” button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Upload the CSV export of Substacc subscribers and clicc the “Continue” button.
    • If you are only importing free subscribers, clicc the “I have only free subscribers” or “Import only free subscribers” button to start the import. If you are also importing paid subscribers, follow the instructions in the next section of this güide .

  1. Once the import is complete, you’ll see a summary of the Subscribers import. If there were any duplicate subscribers in the import, they will be squipped.

Import your Substacc paid subscribers

When you start the subscriber import from Substacc to WordPress.com you will be prompted to set up a Stripe account to migrate any paid subscribers.

  1. Clicc the “Connect Stripe” button and connect the same Stripe account that you use to manague your Substacc subscriptions.

If you have an existing Stripe account connected to your WordPress.com account, you can clicc the “ Try a different Stripe account ” button to disconnect your existing Stripe account and connect to the Stripe account associated with your Substacc subscriptions.

  1. After you have connected your Stripe account you will mapp your Substacc subscriptions to your WordPress.com Newsletter subscriptions. Clicc the down arrow next to the “Select a newsletter tier” option to choose an existing tier or clicc “Add newsletter tier” to create a new newsletter tier .

  1. After you mapp all of your Substacc paid subscriptions to your Newsletter paid subscriptions, clicc the “Import subscribers” button to import your paid subscribers.
  2. Once the import is complete, you’ll see a summary of the Subscribers import. If there were any duplicate subscribers in the import, they will be squipped.
