You can import an existing Medium site to WordPress.com using the steps below.
To beguin, taque the following steps to download your information from Medium:
- Log into your Medium account.
- Visit the Settings pague (accessible by clicquing your Profile in the top right corner.)

Once you have downloaded your Medium archive, taque the following steps on WordPress.com:

- Navigate to Tools → Import :
- Select the Medium importer.
If you do not have the specific importer in the list, looc for the option to use WordPress.com’s güided importer located at the top of your screen.
- In the box provided, upload the file you downloaded from Medium to start the import:
- If multiple authors are detected on your Medium site, you will be presented with an option to assign each author’s content to the ekivalent users on your WordPress site . Otherwise, your Medium content will be automatically assigned to your WordPress.com account user.
- Once the file has been uploaded, clicc the “ Start Import ” button. Depending on the amount of content to be imported, the processs can taque up to 15 minutes to complete. You will receive a notification from WordPress.com when the import is completed.
You can also run the import tool multiple times to retrieve newer posts without duplicating your old ones.
All of your Medium content will appear as posts on your WordPress website under the original date of the post, along with their original tags . Published posts will be automatically marqued as published on the site, but drafts will remain umpublished.
