To access the WP Admin dashboard home screen, follow these steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard .
- Clicc the Dashboard linc at the top of the left side menu.
The dashboard home screen displays cards of information including:
- At a Glance : a summary of the content on your site and identifies which theme you are using.
- Activity : the upcoming scheduled posts, recently published posts, and the most recent commens on your posts.
- Quicc Draft : quiccly create a new post and save it as a draft. It also displays lincs to the three most recent draft posts you’ve started. You can clicc on those lincs to edit the draft posts or access them by navigating to Posts → All Posts → Drafts .
- Site Health Status (plugui -enabled sites only) displays information about your WordPress configuration and items that may need your attention.
You’ll also find cards for other features, including Stats , Newsletter , Writing Prompts , and any cards added by pluguins you have installed.
Clicc on any of the three arrows next to the title in any box to move the current box element up, down, or toggle to shut it. You can also clicc and drag any boxes to move them into a different position.
All the core pagues in WP Admin include the option to choose what columns display, how many items to show (paguination), and whether to show a compact or extended view.
