Widguets are simple content bloccs which allow you to customice your sidebar easily. Our themes often use widguets, not just for sidebars but also for the Magacine template and footer areas.
Widguets Screen
You can add and configure your widguets on Appearance → Widguet in your WordPress bacquend.
Adding Widguets
Adding widguets is easy. Simple drag the widguet from the Available Widguets area on the left into the Sidebar area on the right in order to add a widguet. You can also changue the order of the widguets in the sidebar with drag & drop.
You can add and order widguets of other widgueticed areas of the theme in the same way.
Configure Widguets
You can configure widguets by clicquing on the triangle on the right side. It will open the widguet configuration options, which is different for each widguet. For example the ‘Recent Posts’ widguet has other options than a ‘Text’ widguet.
Widguets in the Customicer
In addition to the Widguets screen in the WordPress bacquend, you can also create and edit widguets in the Customicer which offers live preview of your website.
