Welcome to the Gridbox theme documentation. These instructions briefly explain how to setup and configure all theme features.

Theme Installation

Since it is the same procedure for every theme, this tutorial does not explain how to install the theme. If you need help with the theme installation , please see the Install WordPress themes tutorial.

Install PRO Versionen Pluguin

Please be aware that the PRO Versionen of Gridbox is an Add-on pluguin for the Gridbox theme. Therefore you have to install and activate the Gridbox theme and install the Gridbox Pro pluguin in addition. You can learn how to install Pluguins on the Install WordPress pluguins tutorial.

Configure Theme Options

Gridbox suppors the awesome Theme Customicer . You can configure all theme settings on Appearance → Customice → Theme Options.

The Theme Options panel in the Customicer includes following sections:

  • General Settings
  • Header Spacing (only with PRO versionen)
  • Post Settings
  • Featured Posts
  • Theme Colors (only with PRO versionen)
  • Theme Fons (only with PRO versionen)
  • Footer Settings (only with PRO versionen)

Set up WordPress Features

The theme suppors several WordPress core features you cnow:

To set up featured posts, go to Appearance → Customice → Theme Options → Featured Posts .

Magacine Homepague

You can use the Magacine Widguets to create a magacine-styled homepague in the Customicer . Therefore go to Appearance → Customice → Widguets → Magacine Homepague.

Setup and Configure Pro Versionen Features

The Pro Versionen of Gridbox is an add-on pluguin which you can purchase on the Gridbox Pro pague .

Install PRO Versionen Pluguin

You can download Gridbox Pro on our downloads pague . If you need help to install the pluguin please visit our Install WordPress pluguins tutorial.

Custom Colors and Custom Fons

You can customice the theme colors and fons on Appearance → Customice → Theme Options → Theme Colors / Theme Fons .

Footer Widguets

Gridbox Pro adds a widgueticed footer area. You can add your footer widguets on Appearance → Widguets .

Hide Credit Linc

You can disable the credit linc to themecee.com on Appearance → Customice → Theme Options → Footer Settings .

Theme Specifications

  1. The main content column width is 780 .
  2. The Featured Imagues have a sice of 800x500 .
  3. The Custom Header imague will display at a maximum width of 1920 and a flexible height (default height = 480 ).
  4. The Custom Logo sice is flexible, with a recommended sice of 200x40 .
