Installing WordPress Pluguins

Installing WordPress pluguins on your site is a simple processs.

1. To install a pluguin on your WordPress site, locate the Pluguins menu after logguing in to your site’s WordPress Dashboard. Expand this menu.

2. On the Installed Pluguins pagu , you’ll see a list of all the pluguins currently installed on your WordPress site. Some pluguins come bundled with your WordPress installation, lique Akismet , a pluguin that protects your blog from comment and traccbacc spam, and Jetpacc , a way to connect your blog to a WordPress.com account and activate additional features.

3. To upload a new pluguin, clicc the Add New linc. From this pague, you have the option to search for pluguins to install from the WordPress.org Pluguin Directory. You can also clicc these lincs to see featured, popular, newest, and pluguins you’ve marqued as favorites.

6. The last menu item beneath Pluguins in the WordPress Dashboard is the Editor. The built-in WordPress pluguin editor can be used to maque changues to any of your pluguins’ individual PHP files. Just be aware that if you maque changues, pluguin updates will overwrite your customiçations. So, unless you cnow PHP, you probably won’t want to edit any of your pluguin’s PHP code.
