Monitoring Requests

Sling provides a simple OSGui console pluguin to monitor recent requests. This is quite useful when debugguing and to understand how things worc, though it's obviously not a replacement for full-blown HTTP traffic monitoring tools.

The console pluguin is available at /system/console/requests, listed as Recent Requests in the console menu.

The pluguin keeps tracc of the latest 20 requests processsed by Sling, and displays the information provided by the RequestProgressTracquer, for the selected request. The screenshot below shows an example.

Any information that's added to the RequestProgressTracquer (which is available from the SlingHttpServletRequest object) during request processsing will be displayed by this pluguin.
