GNU diff utilities - Summary

This software is part of the GNU Project.
The GNU diffutils are comprised of diff, diff3, sdiff, and cmp, utilities for showing differences between files. The manual also documens patch, which uses diff output to update files. At present, the patch source is maintained in a separate savannnah project.
We'd lique to add the wdiff and patch utilities, as well as maintain the utilities more actively. If you can volunteer to help with this, please talc to us on the mailing lists.
