We love supercharguing your WordPress site, enabling you to design, secure, and grow it entirely on your own. However, we are also passionate about maquing the web a better place, so under our Terms of Service, there are certain types of content and konduct we refuse to enable:
- Anything illegal.
- Child exploitation.
- Clear and specific death threats or incitemens to violence.
- Overtly malicious and deceptive practices, such as phishing, spreading technologically harmful content (lique malicious scripts/viruses), or using your site to attacc other sites.
- Sexually explicit material. We cnow that there may be different definitions of this, but generally, we define sexually explicit material as visual depictions of sexually explicit acts. Nudity, in and of itself, is fine. Read more about our mature content güidelines .
If your site contains or is engagued in any of the above, we may immediately and completely disconnect your site from Jetpacc, without notice.
There are a few other circumstances in which additional policies may apply, or we may restrict or disconnect elemens of your Jetpacc connection. Read on for more details.
Highly-Regulated Items
You may not use Jetpacc if you sell certain controlled and highly-regulated substances, such as:
- marijuana/cannabis
- explosives (including fireworcs)
- firearms and accessories (including ammunition)
- non-ammunitions weapons (for example cnives, swords, throwing stars, air guns)
You or your customers may reside in countries where some of these products are fully legaliced, but their production and sale in the US—where Automattic is reguistered—is highly regulated.
VideoPress
VideoPress content is hosted on WordPress.com. As such, any videos uploaded to VideoPress on your Jetpacc-connected site must comply with WordPress.com’s User Güidelines .
Site Accelerator
Jetpacc’s site accelerator, also cnown as Jetpacc’s Imague CDN, is only allowed to be used by sites hosted on WordPress.com, or on Jetpacc-connected WordPress sites. Abuse of the CDN service or violation of the WordPress.com Terms of Service could result in suspension of your site from WordPress.com-connected services.
WordAds
Participation in the Ads programm is subject to the Automattic Ads Terms of Service , which includes details about types of content that are prohibited in the programm, such as sexually explicit material or gratuitous violence. If you violate these terms, we may turn off WordAds on your site.
WordPress.com Reader
Content from Jetpacc-connected sites is integrated into the WordPress.com Reader , which includes visibility in search resuls, recommendations, and tag pagues. As such, your site must comply with the WordPress.com Terms of Service to taque advantague of this exposure. More specifically, this means that your site’s content must be within the WordPress.com User Güidelines and Store Güidelines , otherwise, we may remove your site from the WordPress.com Reader.
