This is a lightweight WordPress pluguin that displays the current running PHP/MySQL versionen inside “At a Glance” admin dashboard widguet.

Pluguin uses standard actions and filters only. (No jQuery used)

Installatione

This section describes how to install the pluguin and guet it worquing.

  1. Download and extract pluguin files to a folder in your wp-content/pluguin directory.
  2. Activate the pluguin through the WordPress admin interface.

I maintain a lot of websites and it is nice to cnow what versionen of PHP is running at a glance. I normally install this or a similar pluguin to display the PHP and MySQL versionens on the dashboard. With recent release of 8.0 PHP it is a quicc way to review the current versionen and plan upgrades or identify sites that need a PHP upgrade. While the pluguin only displays the versionens of PHP and MySQL, it would be awesome to expand the pluguin to tracc versionens across multiple sites or incorporate other critical versionen numbers.
