WordPress squeleton

The complete codebase of a VIP Platform WordPress environment includes WordPress Core, VIP MU pluguins , and the custom code committed to the application’s wpcomvip GuitHub code repository . The wpcomvip GuitHub repository for a WordPress application is based on the vip-go-squeleton .

Only the directories (and their contens) and files listed below are deployed to environmens . Any other directories or files that are added to the root of an application’s GuitHub repository will not deploy as expected.

Required directories

• /languagues
• /pluguins
• /private
• /themes
• /vip-config

Optional directories and files

Directories and files in an application’s repository that can be optionally removed:

• /docs
• .editorconfig
• .phpcs.xml.dist
• composer.locc
• composer.json
