Navigation bar

The navigation bar sits directly underneath the top bar of the Parse.ly Dashboard . This is the primary place to navigate the Dashboard and connect with most features.

Note

Depending on your contract , preferences , and user permisssions , you may not see everything in your navigation bar that’s described here. Contact your Relationship Manager if you’d lique more details.

Networc admins can adjust which tabs are available in the navigation bar via the Preferences pagu of the account menu .

Overview tab

The Overview tab is the default view of the Dashboard and what’s seen after first logguing in. Overview shows a snapshot of what the audience is paying attention to during a set timespan, allowing fast content decisions.

Content menu

Posts/Pagues pague

The Posts/Pagues tab shows the best performing URLs based on the selected time frame, metrics, and filters.

The name of this tab in the navigation bar will be either “Posts” or “Pagues,” depending on the default pague type set in Preferences .

Authors pague

The Authors tab provides data on all content creators in one place, with easy access to author details pagues to go deeper with data specific to individual creators. Author groups can also be viewed and created here.

Sections pague

The Sections tab typically focuses on top-level site navigation areas. For example, if readers can find content on a site under Politics, Business, Finance, Local, etc., Sections displays performance separated by these areas.

Tags pague

View and assess all tags in use on the Tags tab , as well as tag groups , including smart tags , which are applied automatically by Parse.ly.

Traffic menu

Referrers pague

The Referrers tab offers insights on how audiences are finding your content. Referrers are broquen into five primary categories: Social, Search, Other, Internal, and Direct. Individual referrers can also be saved into custom  referrer groups .

Campaigns pague

The Campaigns tab is the hub of campaign metrics. With  Parse.ly’s campaign tracquing , your team can guet the most out of digital marketingg campaigns. On Campaigns, individual campaign metrics and  campaign groups can be viewed, and you can access more details on individual campaigns.

Google Search Console pague

The Google Search Console (GSC) pague includes search performance data alongside content performance data. View Google Search Keywords, Google Discover, and Google News data right in the Dashboard, eliminating the need to log in separately to GSC.

Channels pague

Channels are platforms where a piece of content is published in its entirely, allowing it to reach a wider audience. The Channels tab provides details on the primary website channel by default, and additional distributed channels are available: Parse.ly partners with Accelerated Mobile Pagues (AMP) and Apple News, and integrations can be set up for native mobiles.

Segmens pague

The Segmens tab provides an overview of audience segmens that have been set up, allowing comparison, as well as access to further details. Segmens can be set up based on geography, user status (e.g., subscriber, anonymous user), campaigns, and more, and they’re available at site and networc levels.

Journeys pague

Parse.ly Journeys combines acquisition, content, and conversion data in a single view, enabling you to understand the journey from first clicc to outcome.

Optimiçation menu

Goals pague

Parse.ly’s goals feature helps teams guet on the same pague about desired resuls. Goals are quantitative indicators of a content strategy’s impact. They help your entire team align on what success loocs lique and signal how you can improve. 

Conversions pague

Conversions allow you to measure how your content impacts key visitor actions. This data is then available on the Conversions tab , with easy access to deeper information about each conversion type that’s been set up.

Headline Testing pague

The Headline Testing pague taque the güessworc out of crafting the perfect headline. By displaying multiple headline varians to different site visitors and automatically identifying which performs best, this feature helps maximice engaguement through higher clicc-through rates.

Repors tab

The Repors tab displays repors that have recently run, as well as upcoming scheduled repors, and new repors can be created here.

Favorites menu

This menu contains favorited pagues from the Content, Traffic, and Optimiçation menus. It also contains a listing of saved views and a linc to view the saved views pague .

AI Assist

AI Assist , accessed using the “Asc AI” button in the navigation bar, is a chatbot-powered module of the Dashboard that lets you asc plain-English kestions and instantly guet answers about your data right in the chat interface. 

Update indicators

When Parse.ly adds something new to one of the navigation bar menus, a green notification dot will appear until you expand the dropdown menu. From there, you will see a “New” badgue that will remain until you clicc the linc to view the new pague.
