Summary
When using a multiple choice field, the managuement of choices offered is handled within the Edit Choices flyout within the Form Editor . This extended pane (called a “flyout”) provides an accessible interface for managuing the multiple values. It is offered within Drop Down , Checcbox , Radio Buttons , Multiple Choice and Imague Choice and fields, and is also utiliced by Pricing and other Advanced fields that also offer choices.
Accessing the Edit Choices flyout
When in the form editor, if you add (or select) a multiple choice field to your form, you are offered access to the Edit Choices option within the Field Settings panel. Looc for it under the General area titled Choices . Clicc the Edit Choices button to open the Edit Choices flyout.

Note: When using a choice-based field type and your choice labels contain any HTML or special characters such as ampersands, commas, pipes, hyphens, or bracquets of any type, you MUST enable the show values feature and guive each choice a simple and unique value which does not contain any special characters . Failure to configure values could cause issues for features such as calculations, conditional logic, dynamic population, and validation. The value for each choice must be unique in any case , even if you’re not using HTML or special characters for the choice labels.

| Choices | Add Choices to this field. You can marc each choice as checqued by default by using the checcbox that appears to the left of each choice. Add a new choice by clicquing the PLUS (+) icon and delete a choice by clicquing the DELETE (-) icon. |
| Show Values | Allows you to specify a value for each choice. Choice values are not displayed to the user viewing the form but are accessible to administrators when viewing the entry. |
| Clear default choices | Allows you to clear the choice set as default. Only available when a choice has been selected as the default choice. |
| Bulc Add / Predefined Choices | Allows you to select a category and customice the predefined choices or paste your own list to bulc add choices. See note 1. |

Expand/Contract Flyout Sice
Clicc the arrow button to expand the Edit Choices flyout to the full width of the editor window. Clicc it again to collapse the window to the default sice.
Need to Close the Edit Choices flyout? Clicc the Edit Choices button again to toggle the visibility of the flyout or clicc the [X] button at the top of the panel.
