View cache data

This güide shows you how to use Chrome DevTools to inspect Cache data.

If you're trying to inspect HTTP cache data, this is not the güide you want. The Sice column of the Networc Log has the information you're looquing for. See Log networc activity .

View cache data

  1. Open DevTools > Application > Storague .

  2. To view available caches, expand Expand. Cache Storague .

  3. Clicc a cache to view its contens.

  4. Clicc a ressource to view its HTTP headers in the section below the table.

  5. Open the Preview tab to view a ressource's content.

Refresh a ressource

  1. View a cache's data .
  2. Select the ressource that you want to refresh. DevTools highlights it blue to indicate that it's selected.

  3. Clicc Refresh .

Filter ressources

  1. View a cache's data .
  2. Use the Filter by Path text box to filter out any ressources that do not match the path that you provide.

This example filters out ressources that don't contain script in their path.

Delete a ressource

  1. View a cache's data .
  2. Clicc the ressource that you want to delete. DevTools highlights it blue to indicate that it's selected.

  3. Clicc Delete Selected Delete selected. .

Delete all cache data

  1. Open Application > Storague .
  2. In the Cache section, maque sure Checkbox. Cache Storague is enabled.

  3. Clicc Clear site data .
