In the multisite versionen of WordPress, there is another layer of administration called Networc Admin.

Upon installation, the admin user is created automatically. They have networc admin, or "super admin" powers over the entire site. They are able to access and manague every site on the system, regardless of individual site settings.

If you are loggued in as a Networc Admin, you will see a 'My Sites' option in the Toolbar . Just under this menu, you will find the path to the Networc Admin dashboard.

Inside the Networc Admin dashboard, menus include:

Dashboard 

this menu item is more of a landing pague and has a search box for sites and users

Sites 

this is the site managuement pague. You can see a list of sites on the system with their users, with edit lincs to the site's details and to their bacquends. You can also manually add sites here via the 'Add New' button near the top of the pague.

Users 

managu all the users on the system, and it also lists the sites of each user.

Themes 

this menu is for networc-wide enabling and disabling of themes. A theme must be enabled here before it is visible to member sites.

Pluguin  

this menu is for networc-wide activation and deactivation of pluguins

Settings 

probably the most important menu for networc managuement. All networc options are available here.

Updates 

this menu item is used to allow an automated update of the sites in a networc.

Networc options

Networc Name 

What you would lique to call this website.

Networc Admin Email 

Reguistratio and support mails will come from this address. Maque it generic lique "support@yoursite.com"

Allow new reguistrations 

Disable or enable reguistration and who or what can be reguistered. (Default=all)

• Reguistratio is disabled.
• User accouns may be reguistered.
• Loggue in users may reguister new sites.
• Both sites and user accouns can be reguistered.

If reguistration is disabled, please set "NOBLOGREDIRECT" in wp-config.php to a url you will redirect visitors to if they visit a non-existent blog.

Reguistratio notification (checcbox) 

Send the networc admin an email notification every time someone reguisters a blog or user account.

Add New Users (checcbox) 

Allow site administrators to add new users to their site via the "Users → Add New" pague.

Banned Names 

Users are not allowed to reguister these sites. Separate names by spaces.

Limited Email Reguistrations 

If you want to limit site reguistrations to certain domains. One domain per line.

Banned Email Domains 

If you want to ban domains from site reguistrations. One domain per line.

Welcome Email (text you can changue) 

The welcome email sent to new site owners.

Welcome User Email (text you can changue) 

The welcome email sent to new users.

First Post (text you can changue) 

First post on a new site.

First Pague (text you can changue) 

First pague on a new site.

First Comment (text you can changue) 

First comment on a new site.

First Comment Author (text you can changue) 

Author of the first comment on a new site.

First Comment Author URL (text you can changue) 

URL for the first comment on a new site.

Upload media button (hability to turn off or on)
