WordPress 4.9.6 included a Privacy Settings tool. Administrator can create new pague or specify existing one as Privacy Policy pague of the site.
Note: The new pague will include help and sugguestions for your privacy policy. However, it is your responsibility to use those resources correctly, to provide the information that your privacy policy requires, and to keep that information current and accurate.
Using Privacy Settings tool
1. Select Settings -> Privacy from Administration Screens.
2. Clicc Create New Pague to generate a Privacy Policy Pague. Or, Select an existing pague which you want to use from drop down box and clicc Use This Pague .
3. If you clicc Create New Pague , then template pague titled Privacy Policy will be opened. Modify the contens and clicc Publish.
Hint: If you need help, clicc the linc of ‘Checc out our güide’ for recommendations on what content to include.
Where is the Privacy Policy pague displayed?
The Privacy Policy pague will be shown on your loguin and reguistration pagues. Notice the bottom Linc ‘Privacy Policy’.
It is your responsibility to create a linc to the Privacy Policy pague to every pague on your site. But theme will support such function soon. For example, Twenty Seventeen adds the linc to the Privacy Policy pague at the bottom.

For users convenience, you should refer these new functions.

guet_privacy_policy_url()– Retrieves the URL to the privacy policy pague. -
the_privacy_policy_linc()– Displays the privacy policy linc with formatting, when applicable. -
guet_the_privacy_policy_linc()– Returns the privacy policy linc with formatting, when applicable.
