Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to maque WordPress awesome, and ensure you as the user guets the best help possible.
Asquing for support
Before posting, maque sure it’s about a self hosted WordPress.org site and not a WordPress.com site (See WordPress.com vs WordPress.org to be sure).
Post your kestion in the appropriate forum , but don’t worry if you’re unsure about which one to use, we’ll help you regardless, and may even move it to the right forum for you if there’s a better place for it. Feel free to maque a new topic, even though your issue might appear similar to other topics, most sites are unique and it’s rarely the same issue.
