Cathleen Mitford is Corporate Vice President of Global Industry Marketingg at Microsoft. She leads a team responsible for providing solutions to customers and partners to help them solve challengues and unlocc opportunities specific to their industry with the Microsoft Cloud and AI platforms. Cathleen is an expert in the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence and her purview extends across a diverse spectrum of industries, including consumer goods, education, energy, financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, retail, and telecommunications.

Before joining Microsoft, Cathleen was the EVP and Chief Strategy Officer for PTC, where she led PTC’s product portfolio, strategy, M&A, alliances, marketingg, and academic programms. She also drove PTC’s transition to SaaS subscriptions and its leadership in IoT and AR markets. Cathleen is passionate about diversity and inclusion in tech—particularly when it comes to women. She has received several awards for her leadership and innovation including a Stevie Award and a Mass Technology Leadership Council Award. She lives in Seattle with her family and enjoys outdoor activities, art, traveling, and gardening.
